A home for creatives.
Unique, opinionated game modes. Built in vanilla Minecraft. No client mods, no shortcuts.
Glowstone exists because the best ideas in this space keep getting ground down by the parts of the work that have nothing to do with the idea itself. Hosting. Playerbase. Tooling. The pitch deck. The metrics. The hundred small frictions that turn "I want to build this weird thing" into "I'll get to it eventually."
We take it off the table.
What we're building
Glowstone is a small studio running multiple game modes inside vanilla Minecraft. Every project is its own world with its own rules, its own community, and its own creative lead. Right now that's RustLabs and Atom.
The thread that ties them together is the constraint: vanilla Minecraft, no client mods, nothing that asks players to install anything beyond the game they already own. Working inside that constraint forces the creative work to be sharper, and it keeps the door open for anyone who wants to drop in.
The deal
Designers, builders, writers, anyone who can sketch an idea and chase it until it ships: come build something. We handle the rest.
Servers, players, tooling, the weird operational plumbing nobody else wants to deal with. That's our problem. The creative work is yours. The bar is taste, not scale.
What we're not
Not a network. Not a hosting company. Not a launcher. Not trying to be everything to everyone. Small, specific, slow on purpose where it matters.
Get in touch
The Discord is where everything happens. Playtests, devlog chatter, in-progress builds, and the rough edges we're still working out. If you want to play, follow along, or pitch something you'd like to build under the Glowstone banner, that's the door.
